4 Unique Coffee Shops in Seattle

I’ve noticed people in Seattle live off of coffee. No wonder the first Starbucks started here. For those that like a cute coffee shop, I have put together my top 4 favorite unique coffee shops in Seattle (in no specific order).

1. Sip House

Sip house is located in University District in Seattle. They have a cute shop with tons of open space. It looks very clean and there’s lots of natural light from the big windows. If you are looking for a cute picturesque place there are tons of plants and perfect spots for that perfect Instagram post.

They strive to bring different cultures and flavors together. They have lots of different drinks which makes it a great place for those that don’t like coffee. Sip House has several non-coffee drinks such as their milk teas, teas, fruit teas, and slushies.

Another great thing about them is that they want your drink to be perfect! If they hand you a drink you don’t like, they can fix it to your liking by adjusting the sweetness.

I loved their pistachio cream latte because the pistachio cream was so thick and creamy. It balanced out the coffee very well. Another drink I’ve tried that I would get again is their ube milk tea. I’m not sure why, but it reminds me of another drink I had growing up.

2. Cafe Hagen

Cafe Hagen has two locations: Queen Anne and South Lake Union. They are a Copenhagen inspired cafe that sells breakfast, lunch and coffee drinks. I love the aesthetic of the place because it feels very welcoming.

I haven’t been to the Queen Anne location, but I loved their location in South Lake Union. It has a decent amount of indoor seating and great outdoor seating. It’s a perfect place to meet up with a friend, work, study, or get a quick bite alone.

Their drinks are great and so is their food! I love the idea of their Mokka Flight. It is a fun way to try every ingredient before making your own drink! Their London Fog is also one of the best London Fogs I have had in Seattle.

3. Coffeeholic

Coffeeholic is a Vietnemese inspired coffee shop in South Seattle. They have lots of unique coffee drinks, but their most popular is the Coffeholic Dream.

If you’re someone that loves ube, this will probably be your new favorite spot. They can put ube drizzle in most of their drinks. I highly reccomend getting the ube drizzle because it just makes the drink extra yummy and it makes your drink colorful.

This is a great place if you want a grab and go. They make their drinks fairly fast and their customer service is amazing. Everyone that works there is so friendly and nice!

4. Anchorhead Coffee

Anchorhead can be found in downtown Seattle and right next to Pike Place. I love how modern their coffee shops are.

Their service is good here and they make visually pleasing latte art. I like that their drinks usually turn out creamy and smooth. My favorite drink is actually their Shy Bear Fog which isn’t a coffee drink. It’s made with Iron Goddess Oolong, oat milk, and burnt honey.

No matter where you are in Seattle, you will be surrounded by different coffee shops. It probably won’t take you too long to find your go to spot. These four coffee shops are just some of the most unique ones I have tried!
