The Most Instagrammable Brunch Spot in San Francisco

Calling all my Instagram lovers. I found the most Instagrammable brunch spot for you and your besties in San Francisco, CA. I don’t know about you, but when I go out with friends I always try to get cute pictures to post on my Instagram. This is why this is the perfect restaurant for all of that!

Son & Garden has two locations: San Francisco and Menlo Park. They are both open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. I highly recommend making reservations if you plan on going for weekend brunch. Weekends get really busy while weekdays are not as busy.

The restaurant is from the same people who own Farmhouse Thai Kitchen, which is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Bay Area. I’ve had my eye on Son & Garden since they opened and finally got to go recently.

I went to the SF location in the Tenderloin. I was a little skeptical of the location at first because the area is known to be somewhat unsafe. However, my friend and I felt comfortable walking to the restaurant since it was light out.

The interior is so beautiful. It’s decorated with tons of flowers on the walls and ceiling. There is even a corner table in the restaurant for selfies and photos. They have a ring light set up so the lighting is perfect. The background is floral with a sign that says Hello Gorgeous. Don’t be shy, just get up and go to the table when it’s empty and take some cute pictures with your friends! I want to say every table that dined in took at least one picture in the photo area.

Not only is the restaurant so cute, but the presentation of their food is also picture-worthy. I am not the biggest fan of breakfast food, but the photos on Yelp of the Ricotta Pancakes really tempted me. Super happy I didn’t end up ordering the burger because the pancakes were so good!

Everything about Son & Garden’s aesthetic is Insta-worthy. I feel as though their prices are also pretty reasonable. The only items that are more expensive are their cocktails which I didn’t get to try this time. I do know their most popular one is the Cloud 9, which comes with a cotton candy cloud that sits on the drink.

So the next time you and your friends are in San Francisco, stop at Son & Garden for a lovely brunch!
