If you didn’t know, Joshua Tree and its surrounding towns are known to have some really cool Airbnbs. So, if you are looking to get away, make Joshua Tree your next romantic destination.
Additional Cozy Airbnb’s:
- L’Escape Joshua Tree

- Ocotillo Cabin in downtown Joshua Tree Village
Nestled away in Pioneertown, CA is a cozy Airbnb made for two. Surround yourself with jaw-dropping desert views from the patio and enjoy the hot tub under a sky full of stars. This home comes with a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, outdoor shower, firepit, and a bed. To add to the isolation factor, there is no TV; however, you could always bring a laptop and connect to their wifi.
An important thing to mention is the road to the Airbnb. A 4wd is not necessary, but it would be beneficial. I was able to get to the Airbnb and back with a little sedan, but it was definitely a little sketchy. If anything, you just need a car that’s a little higher off from the ground.
Another thing to take into account is that, since you are in a secluded area, there isn’t much nearby. There aren’t many options when it comes to restaurants, but there definitely are a few. The nearest restaurants are in Pioneertown and Yucca Valley which aren’t too far of a drive. However, if you want to make things easier, I recommend getting groceries prior to arriving at the Airbnb so that you could make your meals.
- Pappy & Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace
- 2 Guys Pies Brick Oven Pizza
- Red Dog Saloon
- Royal Siam Cuisine Thai Restaurant
- Yucca Kabob and Hookah
While you are in town, don’t miss out on what the area has to offer. From hiking in Joshua Tree National Park to visiting Pioneertown and checking out the nearby museums, there are so many unique places to stop by. Some places worth checking out include Noah Purifoy Outdoor Desert Art, World Famous Crochet Museum, and Beauty Bubble Salon and Museum.
So what are you waiting for? Go book your next weekend trip for the desert!
